Fire Up Your Feet - Oct 1-31
Bathgate has placed every year and won our school $3,700 by showing how active we are! Any physical activities including after school club sports like soccer or baseball, to walking to school can be recorded!
Please help us with this healthy fundraising activity by filling in all your family's and your child's activities on the tracking sheet or inputting them online http://fireupyourfeet.org/ -- With the help of teachers, PTA will be able to log all in school activities.
RED RIBBON WEEK - OCT. 10-15
Mon. (10/10) Wear Red Day! Wear a past walk against drugs or character counts shirt or anything Red to show your support! Students will be given bracelets at school and red licorice after school!
Tues. (10/11) PJ Day“Your choices are the key to your dreams!” Wear your pajamas to school and show your dream for the future!
Wed. (10/12) Emoji (Wear Bright/Neon colors)Day “Emojin” a bright future! Wear bright colors or clothes with emojis! Come to the art cart at recess to create and show your character.
Thurs. (10/13) Healthy Day (Wear Active/Sports outfits)“We are healthy and staying in the game!” Wear clothes that represent how you stay healthy and active - soccer uniforms, cheer outfit, etc. Please follow school dress code.
Fri. (10/14) Crazy Hair Day “Crazy about Making Smart Choices!” Come to school with crazy hair to show you are crazy about making smart choices.
Sat. (10/15) Mission Viejo Walk Against Drugs - Look for the Bathgate Group! The event begins at 8 a.m. with a 30-minute rally at Mission Viejo High School (25025 Chrisanta Drive). After the rally, participants wearing red T-shirts will form a “red ribbon” as they walk a mile and a half along eastbound La Paz Road to the Oso Creek Trail and end at the Community Fair at Oso Viejo Park (24932 Veterans Way).

Come one, come all to Bathgate's Fall Family Festival on Friday, Oct. 21st from 4:00pm - 6:30pm! Enjoy the pumpkin decorating, costume parade (no masks or weapons or extremely bloody/gory costumes permitted), listen to tunes by DJ Russo, play games,carnival games, win prizes, have dinner, enjoy Screamin’ Ice Cream, Book Fair and more!
