Watch D.O.G.S. Program
Thank you for your interest in Bathgate's Watch DOGS program. The Watch D.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Students) is a program used by schools across the country that encourages fathers and father-figures to get involved in their children's schools. The goals are to provide positive male role models to students, as well as to provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security, reduce bullying, and provide a greater sense of campus safety.
Bathgate would like to have fathers and father-figures on campus regularly. We ask that you volunteer at least one whole school day, but you are welcome to volunteer more days throughout the school year. During this day, you will assist with morning drop off, help in classrooms, monitor and play with students during recesses and lunch, patrol the campus, and assist with after-school pickup. You can also volunteer to help with PTA events throughout the year, such as Fun Run, Trunk-or-Treat, Holiday Party, and Carnival.
If you would like to join Bathgate’s Watch DOGS program or have questions, please contact Roger at [email protected].
